Julius is initially touched, but then sees through Richard’s manipulation. Carla and Britta experience a moving moment: Katharina’s research is finally recognized - the twin comets she discovered are now named Katharina and Leonard. During an argument with Jess, Jonas gets hit on the head with a book. He takes this as a sign and reads his first romance novel. To Jess’s surprise, he’s completely captivated. While stargazing, she tells him the romantic love story of Katharina and Leonard - Jonas is deeply moved. Meanwhile, Valerie once again shirks her maternal duties. She passes the daycare appointment on to Simon - and instead lets herself be distracted by her dog Hermine, who keeps showing up at her door.
